This warranty is provided by Blind Freddy Pty Ltd. ACN 122 439 605, Shop 4 302 South Pine Rd, Brendale Qld 4500 (BFEB)

WARRANTY SUMMARY

BFEB provides this warranty against manufacturing and material defects. Frame: Three years from date of original invoice. Battery: One year full replacement, second year pro rata. Other electric components two years. Shimano components: As per Shimano genuine warranty 12 months.

BFEB WARRANTY CONDITIONS

At BFEB discretion, components may need to be returned for testing and inspection.
Prior approval for repair must be gained by BFEB before repair is undertaken.
Repair must be carried out by BFEB authorised repairer or agent nominated by BFEB.
Warranty is not transferrable.
Warranty period does not recommence from date of product replacement or repair.
Transport charges may apply to replaced or repaired product.
BFEB fully complies to terms and conditions for consumer goods under Australian consumer law.

WARRANTY DETAIL

Frame warranty: Frame is warranted to be free of manufacturing and material defects for 3 years from sales invoice.

Electric items: Battery pro rata warranty 0-12 months Full replacement, 12-24 Months 50% pro rata fee. Exclusions are water damage, physical damage Incorrect charging, and power surge. A reduction of 30% capacity within the 2 year period is not considered a fault.
Motor, charger, controller and throttle claims require the item to be returned for inspection and testing prior to replacement or repair. Exclusions are water damage, damage resulting from collision or rough handling.

Drive train, Wheels, Steering and General items: The following items carry a two year warranty for manufacturing and material defects from purchase date.
Wheel rims, wheel spokes, hubs, front forks, seat and seat post, handlebars, head stem, kick stand, bottom bracket, crank set, reflectors, bell.

Shimano components: Shimano components carry a 12 month warranty for manufacturing and material defects

Wear and Tear Exclusions: Tyres, tubes, valves, lights, brake and gear cables, chain and sprockets, handlebar grips, brake pads,

Usage Exclusions/Restrictions: Stunting and jumping, commercial use without prior approval by BFEB, riders including luggage exceeding max weight limits, third party modifications, fitting of non genuine spare parts, use of non genuine BFEB battery charger.

How to make a warranty claim:

Firstly contact your dealer/supplier and describe the issue. It is possible that the issue can be remedied over the phone. If not, return the bike to your supplier or an authorised BFEB repairer at your cost for initial inspection. If then deemed worthy of warranty repair or replacement, the work will be carried out according to the warranty conditions above.
